If I make multiple $80 gifts, will I receive multiple towels?

We love your enthusiasm! To make sure we can share the NYU spirit with as many people as possible, we are limiting the thank-you gift to one towel per household.

Are pledges eligible for the towel?

While we are so grateful for every pledge, only completed gifts of $80 or more made during the initiative are eligible to receive a towel.

When will I receive my towel?

Good things come to those who wait! You can expect your towel to arrive in April.

A quick note on shipping: Because we want to ensure as much of your gift as possible goes toward supporting our students, we are unable to ship towels outside the U.S. at this time due to high international shipping costs. We truly appreciate your understanding!

I have already made a gift this fiscal year. Will I receive the towel?

First, thank you so much for your support! This towel is a special "thank you" designed specifically to celebrate the energy of NYU One Day. Because it's a limited-time initiative, we invite you to make an additional gift during this event to claim your towel and double your impact!

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, absolutely! Your gift is 100% tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Under IRS guidelines, the value of the towel is considered a modest token of our thanks, so it does not reduce the deductible amount of your contribution.

I have a monthly or annual recurring gift. Will I receive a towel?

We are so grateful for your steady, ongoing support! Because this is a unique, one-day celebration, we’re asking our sustaining donors to join the fun by making a new gift of $80 or more specifically for NYU One Day to receive this year's towel.

Does my gift need to be directed to a specific area?

Not at all! We know our community is passionate about many different causes across the University. Whether you give to a specific scholarship, a favorite department, or a student program, any gift of $80 or more to any area of NYU qualifies you for the towel.

Can I choose a different item instead of the towel?

At this time, the NYU towel is the only item available for this specific campaign. If you would like to make a gift without receiving the towel, you can simply select the "opt-out" box during checkout. This ensures that 100% of your donation goes directly toward supporting our students.
